Lester Crown
Lester Crown (born June 7, 1925 ) is an American entrepreneur .
Life
Crown grew up in a Jewish family; his father was the entrepreneur Henry Crown . He studied chemistry at Northwestern University and Harvard University . Since 1969 he has been president of the company Henry Crown & Co. The company General Dynamics and the company Maytag was Crown board member. In 1999 he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences .
According to Forbes Magazine , Crown is one of the richest Americans and is listed in The World's Billionaires 2005. Crown is married with seven children.
