Thaing ( absolute fight ) is the term that summarizes the martial arts of ancient Burma . These include, among others

  • Bando (Burmese self-defense ): Complete combat system with (punches, kicks, holds, throws, etc.)
  • Banshay (Burmese weapons arts)
  • Lethwei (Burmese Boxing )
  • Naban (Burmese wrestling )

Thaing is therefore the counterpart to Japanese Budo , Korean Mudo , Chinese Wushu and Filipino Martial Arts .
