Levon Madoyan
Levon Madoyan (born August 10, 1909 in Alexandropol , † September 19, 1964 in Yerevan ) was an Armenian duduk player.
Madoyan was a member of the Ensemble for Eastern Musical Instruments of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra from 1923 to 1939 . From 1952 he was a soloist in the ensemble for national instruments on the Armenian radio and television. He gave concerts in Moscow, Tbilisi, Baku, Tashkent and Rostov, among others. In 1961 he was honored as a People's Artist of the Armenian SSR.
