Liang Lizhen
Liang Lizhen ( Chinese 梁丽珍 , Pinyin Liáng Lízhēn ; * 1945 - † January 27, 2017 ) was a Chinese table tennis player . She won gold in the team competition of the 1965 World Cup .
Career
From 1961 to 1971, Liang Lizhen participated in at least four world championships . In 1961 she reached the semi-finals in doubles with Han Yu-Chen. She came just as far in the team competition in 1963 . She was most successful at the 1965 World Cup . Here she became world champion with the women's team. She also won bronze in doubles with Li Li and in mixed with Zhuang Zedong . Only in 1971 did she fail to win a medal.
In mid-1965 she was ranked 8th in the ITTF world rankings .
