The city of Lianjiang ( 廉江 市 , Liánjiāng Shì ) is an independent city in the Chinese province of Guangdong . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Zhanjiang . Lianjiang has an area of ​​2,835 square kilometers and a population of 1,510,000 (2003). The seat of government is the street district Luozhou (罗 州 街道).
