Press reviews

“In its entirety, the 56th year of Song and Popular Culture brings together a whole series of valuable contributions to modern popular music research. The successful and representative selection of historical and contemporary contributions not only illustrates the broad thematic and methodological horizon of the discipline, but also the necessity and topicality of a discursively anchored discussion of popular music as a force that creates identity and shapes culture in the past and present.
