Game mode
In the regular season (Etapa Regular) , each team plays 54 games from October to January. In the 2010/11 season there is for the first time a semi-final series (Serie de Playoff) between the second and the third in the best-of-five mode. Their winner plays in the final (series final) according to the best-of-seven mode against the first of the regular season for the championship.
