Sacrouterine ligament

The sacrouterinum ligament is a band (ligament), the ligaments part of the uterus (uterus) and is part of the parametrium .

The ligament is a fiber-rich connective tissue stretch , interspersed with smooth muscles , which connects the cervix with the sacrum . He holds the uterus in place from behind.
