history

Members of the Lilyjets are the three Oslo residents Lisbeth Marie Mjaugo (* 1983), Kine Lee Aksnes (* 1984) and Tinki Tønseth Troye (* 1984). Mjaugo and Aksnes met at school. Troye joined them in 2001. The Lilyjets write their own music. On their debut album they composed and wrote all but one of the songs. Some of the recordings supposedly date back to when the three were only 15. Their style is pop / rock, with Aerosmith , Alanis Morissette , Tracy Chapman and Hanson as their main influences .

At the NRJ Awards in January 2006 in Helsinki they won the prize for “Best Nordic Hit”; They were also nominated in this category at the Nordic Awards 2005 in Denmark.

In 2006 they were on tour with the radio station Jump in Central Germany.
