Linda Buckley-Archer (* 1958 in Sussex ) is a British writer.

Life

She was born in Sussex but grew up in rural Staffordshire . After studying French literature for a few years, she first worked as a lecturer before making a name for herself as a journalist and screenwriter. As a screenwriter, for example, she wrote well-known radio play texts for the BBC radio. But it only became really known through the Gideon series, the first part of which is “Gideon the cutpurse” (Gideon the pickpocket). The German title is "The Lord Without a Name".

Linda Buckley-Archer now lives in London with her husband and two children.
