Lindbergh Diploma
The Lindbergh Diploma (also The Charles Lindbergh General Aviation Diploma ) was first awarded in 1983 by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) .
It honors people or organizations who have made outstanding contributions to general aviation for more than ten years .
In particular, the following areas of general aviation are taken into account:
- Sport aviation
- Air transport
- Participation in international organizations
- Technical innovations
- Research and development of new concepts and equipment to improve efficiency and flight safety
