Linde Sorgau
The Sorgau linden tree is a summer linden tree with a chest height circumference of 9.13 meters (as of 2014) in the village of Sorgau in the Saxon Ore Mountains . The tree stands in the center of Sorgau next to the village road on the grounds of the Mühl family's farm.
According to Stadtkurier Pockau-Lengefeld on January 9, 2016, the crown of the hollow tree was removed about 30 years ago for safety reasons. But the tree fell again and lived on.
