The linden trees at the community square in Edenbergen are located north of the closed development of the village and are registered as a natural monument.

location

The total of three linden trees are located north of the closed development of the village and east of the cycle path of the extension of Edenberger Lindenbergstraße, which leads north to the connecting road from Batzenhofen to Rettenbergen . The Lindenbergstrasse was not named after these linden trees, but after a group of linden trees in the center of the village.

The area south of it up to the Böglebach is referred to as the Edenberger community square, which, like the linden trees, actually lies on the corridor of today's Batzenhofer district, but belongs to Edenbergen for historical reasons.

Field chapel Mariahilf

The linden trees are arranged in a star shape and thus surround the Mariahilf field chapel , which is registered as a protected architectural monument. On the Roman Catholic holiday of the Assumption of Mary , the field service of the community of Sankt Martin in Batzenhofen takes place here, to which Edenbergen belongs.
