Lino Battiston (* 1953 in Dillingen / Saar ) is a German songwriter , guitarist , guitar teacher and author.

life and work

Lino Battiston was born in Dillingen / Saar in 1953 to an Italian father and a German mother. At the age of eight he got his first guitar lessons. A few years after completing his professional training as a sheet metal worker, he began working as a freelance songwriter, guitarist and guitar teacher. His first songs were written in the mid-1980s, inspired by socio-political issues of the time, in the typical songwriting tradition. In addition to the songs, several guitar instrumentals and books are part of his work. Lino Battiston lives in Rehlingen-Siersburg , is married and has two sons.
