Inga Bremer (born July 15, 1980 in Langen ) is a German director , screenwriter and producer .

life and career

Inga Bremer was born in Langen near Frankfurt am Main. After graduating from high school , she studied French for a semester in France at the University of Burgundy . Later she began an acting training at the drama school der Keller in Cologne. In 2004 she moved to the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy to study documentary film directing. Inga Bremer was nominated for the German Human Rights Film Award for her film Goodbye Kutti , which was made during her studies .

After a year abroad at the international university for film and television ( EICTV ) in Cuba, she shot her diploma film Perfect Girls , which was funded by the Baden-Württemberg Media and Film Society and was created in cooperation with SWR . The film has been shown at international festivals and was awarded the Golden Panda at the Sichuan TV Festival in China.

After graduating, Inga Bremer founded the production company Soilfilms with the directors Ayla Gottschlich , Silvana Santamaria and Catalina Flórez . Since then they have been producing documentaries and feature films together , both for the German and international market.
