Lintec KK ( Japanese リ ン テ ッ ク 株式会社 , Rintekku kabushiki-gaisha , English Lintec Corporation ) is a company that manufactures and sells adhesives , specialty papers and release films. The largest shareholder in the company is the Nippon Paper Group with 30.12%. The company's headquarters are in the Honchō district of Tokyo's Itabashi district.

history

In 1927, Fuji Shōkai ( 不二 商会 ) began producing rubber bands for packaging in Sugamo . In 1934 the company was organized as Fuji Shikō KK ( 不二 紙 工 株式会社 ) as a stock corporation based in Itabashi in what was then the city ​​of Tokyo . From 1960 adhesive paper for labels was added to the range, later adhesive films. Labeling machines were added in 1972.

From 1984 the abbreviation with the Latin letters was only called FSK ( FSK 株式会社 ), in 1990 the company was renamed Lintec . Then the international expansion began to China, Europe, from 2002 to Korea and Taiwan, 2011 to Thailand and India, 2016 to the USA.
