Lion (chocolate bar)

Lion ( English for "lion" ) is a brand for a chocolate bar from Nestlé , which consists mainly of caramel (34.2%) and crispy cereals (9%) and is coated with milk chocolate (38.7%). It was developed in the 1970s by the British confectionery manufacturer Rowntree’s , which has been part of Nestlé since 1988. It was first launched on the market under the name “tam” in yellow and red packaging. "Tam" was later withdrawn from the market and only brought back onto the market a few years later, shortly before Nestlé took over Rowntree's, under the name "Lion".

A Lion 2GO bar is also available, which consists of peanuts , raisins , cranberries , crispy rice and milk chocolate .

There is also a version with white chocolate and one with peanuts available.
