Lip liner

A lip liner or engl. Lipliner is a device in pen form for the care and beautification of the lips . Its composition is similar to that of a lipstick ; it consists of pigments that are embedded in fats , resins and waxes to make them easy to apply ; other ingredients can be water, scented and care oils and can have different colors depending on the fashion but usually less water and heatable lipids than lipstick, so that it is harder in consistency . A lip liner is usually used to frame the lips so that the actual lipstick does not flow out of the lip frame and smear when heated . The lip liner is usually available in the form of a sharpenable wooden sleeve or in plastic and even metal sleeves, from which it can usually be twisted , similar to a lipstick .

Lip liner can also be used as a substitute for kohl, but it should be noted that some people cannot tolerate a certain red dye and this can cause eye irritation.
