Lisandro Rosales Banegas (born December 26, 1969 in Tegucigalpa ) is a Honduran politician. He has been the country's foreign minister since July 2019.

Life

He studied administrative science at the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana in Tegucigalpa. In 2014 he was Minister for Development and Social Integration. In 2015 he completed a graduate degree in Security and Defense Institution Administration from the National Defense University in Washington, DC In July 2019, he was appointed Secretary of State.

family

Lisandro Rosales Banegas is the son of brigadier general and politician Marco Antonio Rosales Abella († 2014), who was a military attaché in the Honduran embassy in the United States in the 1980s . He is married and has two children.
