In the list of monuments in Wolfenbüttel-Halchter , all monuments of the district Halchter of the Lower Saxon city of Wolfenbüttel are listed. The status of the list is March 1, 1983.

General

Halchter is about three kilometers south of Wolfenbüttel. The B 4 runs through the village as Harzburger Strasse. Today the street bisects the place, until the middle of the 19th century Halchter was only in the east of the B 4. From this point on the place expands to the west. In the south-west is the manor park, which was laid out in the 19th century.

Halchter was first mentioned as Halctre around 1148/1149 . In 1346 the place was called Halchteren . The von Halchter family of knights was mentioned in the 13th century. The manor was built in 1648.

Harzburger Strasse (B 4) 52 ° 8 ′ 24 ″ N, 10 ° 33 ′ 1 ″ E	Evangelical church with churchyard and war memorial	The church has a medieval core. Today's church was created in the form of a renovation in 1792/1793. The pointed arch windows, the cove ceiling and the pulpit altar wall probably also date from this period. The tower was built in 1870. It is a square tower with a pointed helmet that goes from a square to an octagon. In the same year the sacristy was added. The church stands on the former cemetery, there are still tombstones from the 18th century.

Harzburger Strasse 11/12, 15 52 ° 8 ′ 29 ″ N, 10 ° 32 ′ 55 ″ E	Manor with manor (Harzburger Strasse 12), villa (Harzburger Strasse 11), with park and tea house, farm building (Harzburger Strasse 15) of the manor	The mansion was built in 1820. The architect of the house was Peter Joseph Krahe . The house has one and a half floors, a hipped roof and was built in the classical style. The facade is characterized by a wide central projectile, in front of which there is a two-flight staircase. The villa was built in 1895 and is located north of the manor house. The farm buildings date from the second half of the 19th century.
Harzburger Straße 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 coordinates are missing! Help.	Courtyards	The courtyards are located on the former western outskirts, on the east side of Harzburger Straße ( B 4 ). The gable-facing buildings face east-west. The residential and farm building is in the north, the stable or barn in the south of the courtyard. The gate pillars are still partially preserved. The residential and farm building at Harzburger Strasse 17 dates from the second half of the 17th century and is essentially the oldest building.
