List of the Berlin football champions of the DFuCB 1892–1902

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of Berlin football champions of the DFuCB 1892–1902 includes all champions of the German Football and Cricket Federation (DFuCB) from 1892 to 1902. May 1891 the association was founded in Berlin. It was the second football association in Germany after the Association of German Football Players (BDF) and served as an alternative to the BDF, which did not allow foreign players and officials. The first season took place in the 1891/92 season. At the end of the 1890s , other football associations were founded in Berlin, with the Association of Berliner Ballspielvereine (VBB) and the Märkische Fußball-Bund (MFB) becoming the largest competitors of the DFuCB. Because more and more clubs switched to the other associations, the DFuCB broke up after the end of the 1901/02 season.

At the beginning of football no German football championship was played, so that the champions of the DFuCB could not compete across Germany. The German football championship was only introduced one season after the DFuCB was dissolved, namely in 1902/03 .
