This is a list of nuclear power plants in Africa . In Africa there is (as of May 2018) a nuclear power plant (in South Africa ) with two reactors. Nuclear power plants are in various planning phases in Egypt , Algeria , Libya , Morocco , Namibia (see list of power plants in Namibia ) , Nigeria , Sudan and Tunisia .
