In the list of cultural monuments in Kellinghusen , all cultural monuments of the Schleswig-Holstein town of Kellinghusen (Steinburg district) are listed (status: 2017).
In 1196 the church was mentioned for the first time and the first priest Johannes de Kelenghusen was attested. In 1529 Henricus Fischer was the first Evangelical Lutheran preacher. From 1658 to 1660 the Great Elector stayed in Kellinghusen during the “Polack Wars”. On June 26, 1686, lightning struck the church, causing it to burn down completely.
