List of cultural assets in Basel

The list of cultural goods in Basel contains all objects in the city of Basel in the canton of Basel-Stadt that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of October 29, 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Quarters of Basel

For the sake of clarity, the list is divided into four sub-directories (as of January 1, 2018):

• Old town Grossbasel (part of the old town on the left bank of the Rhine)
• Grossbasel Ost (districts Breite, Bruderholz, Gundeldingen and St. Alban as well as the eastern part of the suburbs)
• Grossbasel West (Quarters Am Ring, Bachletten, Gotthelf, Iselin and St. Johann as well as the western part of the suburbs)
• Kleinbasel (Quartier Clara, Hirzbrunnen, Kleinhüningen, Klybeck, Matthäus, Rosental and Wettstein as well as part of the old town on the right bank of the Rhine)
