List of neighborhoods in Almere
The list of districts of Almere includes all official districts with their neighborhoods. Almere consists of the districts Almere Stad , Almere Haven (oldest district) and Almere Buiten. The districts of Almere Hout, Almere Poort and Almere Pampus are under construction. Almere is the fastest growing city in the Netherlands. Construction activity is brisk, especially in Almere Buiten, but also in the new districts of Almere Hout and Almere Poort. The Almere Stad district includes the city center with the town hall.
Location of the districts and first development
The first part of the city to be newly built was Almere Haven. Only then did the current central district of Almere Stad begin to be developed. In the table, the year indicates the year of the first development and settlement.

Two further districts are to be created: Almere IJland and Almere Oosterwold. Problems are expected in the planning and development of this last district, as it is to be built on the area of the current municipality of Zeewolde .

- 211 Stedenwijk with 10,275 inhabitants
These neighborhoods are located in the Almere Stad district.
The largest district in the Almere Buiten district is 312 Stripheldenbuurt with 6715 inhabitants.
The largest district in the Almere Haven district is 108 De Wierden with 3630 inhabitants.
In the Almere Poort district, the 403 Homeruskwartier district is the most populous with 5765 inhabitants.
The largest district in the Almere-Hout district is 502 Vogelhorst with 1165 inhabitants.
