The list of stumbling blocks in Eckernförde contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Eckernförde as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Eckernförde.

Women's leader of the KPD in Borby, after “protective custody” in 1934, she followed her husband Otto Faehse with her two children in May 1934 to the Soviet Union near Stalingrad . After her arrest in June 1941 and sentencing to five years in a camp in February 1942, her fate and that of her children are unknown. | ||

Member of the KPD, community representative in Borby from 1929 to 1933, arrested at the end of March 1933 and taken to the Moltke barracks in Schleswig on April 6, then Kuhlen and Esterwegen concentration camps in Emsland. Released at the end of 1933 as part of the Christmas amnesty and emigrated to the Soviet Union via Denmark in January 1934. Arrested in Rostov-on-Don in March 1938 as part of the Stalinist " Great Terror ", died in custody. | ||

Member of the KPD, arrested on March 9, 1933 in Eckernförde, went into hiding after being released from “protective custody” and emigrated to the Soviet Union via Denmark in May 1934 in autumn 1933. He worked in a shipyard in Taganrog and was arrested in August 1937 as part of the Stalinist "Great Terror". Further fate unknown. | |

Member of the SPD, chairman of the SPD Eckernförde and union secretary, from 1929 mayor of the then independent municipality of Borby. In “protective custody” from April to November 1933, after July 20, 1944, deported to Neuengamme concentration camp . Killed with about 7,500 concentration camp prisoners in the mistaken air raid by the British on the ships Cap Arcona and Thielbeck in Neustädter Bucht. | ||

Member of the KPD, leading role in the illegal resistance against the Nazi dictatorship in Eckernförde, was placed in "protective custody" in 1933. Arrested again on January 13, 1936 during a spa stay in Bad Oeynhausen and sentenced to eight years in prison in Kiel. After being posted to Rendsburg, he was relocated to Bremen-Oslebshausen in 1937. He died there as a result of pseudo-medical experiments. |
