The list of stumbling blocks in Bredstedt contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Bredstedt as part of the project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Bredstedt.

Carlsen was taken into protective custody on November 28, 1935 for comments on the political situation. He died on June 5, 1936 when he fell from the train on the way to the main hearing of the special court in Heide, allegedly a suicide.
