The list of stumbling blocks in St. Wendel includes the stumbling blocks laid by the artist Gunter Demnig in the Saarland district town of St. Wendel , which remind of the fate of the people who were murdered, deported, expelled or driven to suicide under National Socialism.

Balduinstrasse 41 0Apr 9, 2011 Eduard Reinheimer was an entrepreneur in St. Wendel. He was taken to the Camp de Gurs internment camp in southern France on October 22, 1940, together with Alice and Ilse Reinheimer . All three died in Auschwitz , where they were brought to the Drancy assembly camp near Paris on September 11th .

Gymnasialstrasse 7 0Apr 9, 2011 The Heymann family consisted of Max Sigmund Heymann, Norma Heymann and their daughter Marianne. Max Sigmund was the manager of a hairdressing shop at Bahnhofstrasse 10. The family emigrated to Holland in 1935 and was taken to Auschwitz via the Westerbork transit camp in 1942 and killed there.

Schlossstrasse 6/8 0Apr 9, 2011 Before Erna Berl and 1,000 other Jews reached the Drancy transit camp in Paris on August 6, 1942, she was deported to the Camp de Gurs in southern France on October 22, 1940 . On August 10, 1942, she was taken from the Drancy transit camp near Paris to Auschwitz on Transport No. 17. She probably died there two days later.
