Buštěhrad Castle The center of the complex (castle, church and park are delimited by city walls) is a monumental two-story aristocratic house that was built on older foundations by Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer and Anselmo Lurago in 1747–1753 . On the edge of the slope there is an extensive three-winged castle. The main north wing faces the village square of the historic village, which is located in the valley below the slope. The long western wing stands along Revoluční Street. The southern end of this wing is the parish church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the original castle chapel. Access to the site is through the pillar gate at the corner of the church in the southwest corner of the site. In the south and east of the palace there was originally a courtyard, of which only a torso has been preserved (east of the palace). The border walls surround the southern border of the area. On the east side, the area is also bordered by a wall, which opposite the short wing of the castle is broken through by a pillar gate to the former courtyard. The steep slope north of the castle was originally designed as a park. Most of its area is delimited by a wall, the park is only delimited by a chain-link fence on the southwest side. There is a younger pillar gate and a small brick building in these places. On the south-east side, on the edge of the slope, the boundary of the complex is formed by the long service wing of the former inner courtyard, which roughly corresponds to the main wing of the castle. In the park there are remains of modern functional buildings (open-air cinema). Neither the yard nor the farm buildings are protected. 46728 / 2-467 Info catalog
