Aurora
Aurora is a Canadian company. The varieties are imported to Germany by Pedanios GmbH , which was taken over in 2018 . Aurora Cannabis had to cease sales at short notice at the end of 2019 by order of the Bfarm, as the necessary AmradV radiation licenses for the product were not available. Aurora announces that it will import from Denmark as well as Canada. Aurora also cultivates in Germany on behalf of the bar.

Cannamedical / MedReleaf
The manufacturer was the Canadian pharmaceutical company MedReleaf , whose varieties were imported by the German company Cannamedical Pharma from Cologne in 2018 until MedReleaf was taken over in shares by Aurora for € 2.1 billion and supplies to Cannamedical were immediately discontinued. Medreleaf would have had to supply Cannamedical with a monthly quantity of 100 kg in a two-year, exclusive contract, since Cannamedical had helped Medreleaf's Markham factory to obtain EU GMP certification by the Cologne district government in advance. As a result, Cannamedical has sued Aurora for € 14.7 million ("Non-Delivery Penalty") in damages before the Canadian Ontario Superior Court.

Tilray
Tilray currently produces and imports the THC25 from Canada. The Portuguese production facility in Cantanhede opened in May 2019 and was originally intended to serve as a production facility for Europe. In the meantime, there is speculation whether Tilray, instead of continuing to cultivate itself, will import high-THC cannabis from Urugay for 2 US dollars per gram and process it in its own Portuguese factory.
