List of Norwegian ambassadors in Greece
The list of Norwegian ambassadors in Greece provides an overview of the heads of the Norwegian diplomatic mission in Greece. The ambassador resides in Athens .
Diplomatic relations between Norway and Greece were established in 1918. From 1927 the Norwegian envoy in Rome was also accredited in Greece. In 1967 a separate embassy was set up under the direction of a Chargé d'affaires , which was subordinate to the Norwegian ambassador in Rome.
In 1974, an independent embassy was finally set up in Athens. Kåre Dæhlen became the first Norwegian ambassador to Greece.
