List of ships named Coronel Bolognesi

Four ships of the Peruvian Navy were named as BAP Coronel Bolognesi . It was named after the Peruvian colonel and national hero Francisco Bolognesi .

These are the ships:

  • Coronel Bolognesi (1907–1958)
    The Scout Cruiser was built in England for the Peruvian Navy. It was put into service on November 19, 1907 and initially served as a training ship with its sister ship the BAP Almirante Grau .
  • Coronel Bolognesi (CL-82)
    The to Crown Colony-class cruiser belonging Light Cruiser was for the Royal Navy built and on 13 July 1943 as HMS Ceylon completed (C30). On February 9, 1960, the cruiser was taken over by the Peruvian Navy and canceled in 1982.
  • Bolognesi (DD-70)
    The destroyer of Friesland class went as Overijssel (D815) under the Dutch flag and served from 1982 to 1990 in the Peruvian Navy.
  • Bolognesi (FM-57)
    The frigate of the Lupo class went as Perseo (F566) under the Italian flag and was found in Peru in service on January 23 of 2006.
