List mandate

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

List mandates are the mandates that result from the second vote . A party that reaches a certain percentage with the second vote has the right to move into the respective parliament . The party candidates to be elected are placed on their respective country lists in an order determined by the party and are then list candidates . The more percentage second votes the party receives, the more list mandates it receives, that is, the politicians get a mandate and are elected to parliament and then MPs or members of parliament.
