The 2004/05 season was the 14th season of the Lithuanian Ice Hockey League , the highest Lithuanian ice hockey league . Champion was for the twelfth time in the history of SC Energija .

In the main round, each of the three teams played a total of eight games. The two Lithuanian teams qualified for the playoff semifinals, in which Sturm Kaliningrad was not allowed to take part as a Russian visiting team. Its winner met SC Energija in the championship finals . For sporting reasons, however, SC Energija met the semi-final loser Jaunimas Elektrenai instead of their own second team. Each team received three points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
