The 2011/12 season was the 21st season of the Lithuanian Ice Hockey League , the highest Lithuanian ice hockey division . Champion was for the 17th time in the club's history of SC Energija , whose second team started as ESSM Energija Elektrėnai and was reinforced by players from the first team.

In the main round, each of the six teams played a total of 15 games. The first place in the main round was champion. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a loss after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
