Lithuanian Center for Non-Formal Student Education

The Lithuanian Center for Non-Formal Student Education (lit. Lietuvos mokinių neformaliojo švietimo centras ) is an institution for non-formal student education in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . 290 people are employed in the center (as of 2014). In 2013 they had expenses of 2.44 million euros.

history

The current center was established on September 1st, 2012 according to the decision of the Ministry of Education of Lithuania on June 26th, 2012. Before that there were four different child and youth education organizations (Lithuanian Center for Student Information and Technical Creativity, Lithuanian Center for Young Scientists , Lithuanian Center for School and Student Sports , Lithuanian Center for Youth Tourism ). On March 11, 2014, the newly established training center had a total of 1,359 employees.
