The Literaturhaus Zürich is a literary house in Switzerland. It was originally founded in 1999 as the literary house of the Museum Society Zurich . It has been subsidized by the City of Zurich since 2002 and sponsored by the Zürcher Kantonalbank since 2001 .
The Literaturhaus is a public meeting place where readings, discussions, workshops and other events are organized. The house also has a fiction library with books in four languages and two reading rooms with newspapers and magazines. The library and reading rooms are reserved for members of the museum society.
The Literaturhaus is located in Zurich city center, in Niederdorf, Limmatquai 62.
