The Litlanesfoss is a waterfall in East Iceland.

Litlanesfoss is located in eastern Iceland, southwest of the town of Egilsstaðir and near the southern part of Lake Lagarfljót .

The Litlanesfoss is - like the higher situated Hengifoss - fed by the river Hengifossá (a tributary of the Lagarfljót ). Here the river tumbles over beautiful basalt columns like the Svartifoss and the Aldeyjarfoss .
