The Little Green Cars are an Irish folk rock band from Dublin .

biography

The Little Green Cars were formed in 2007 as a teenage band by Adam O'Regan, Stephen Appleby and Faye O'Rourke. The members were all around 15 years old at the time and strengthened themselves with Donagh O'Leary, Dylan Lynch and the Indian-born pianist and keyboardist Utsav Lal, who left the band. After leaving school, they decided to start in the music business together. They quickly made a name for themselves, performed major appearances and released two EPs with a total of seven titles in their own production .

Her performances took her beyond Ireland to London, where she became aware of one of the label founders of Young and Lost Club . In 2011 the song The John Wayne was released , which brought them more prominence. The following year the band was signed by Island Records and the US label Glassnote Records in England . The single was released again and this time it could place in the Irish charts . At the same time , the debut album Absolute Zero was recorded with Markus Dravs, among other things producer for Mumford & Sons and Coldplay . In addition, they made several appearances in North America for the first time. In the BBC's Sound of Poll, they came on the nomination list for the upcoming Musicians of 2013. Before the album was released, they toured England with Jake Bugg and they were booked for a major tour of North America, including SXSW -Festival.
