The Livonia Rock is a cliff rock in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 800 m south of Cape Melville , the eastern extension of King George Island .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the sealer Livonia , who operated in the waters around the South Shetland Islands between 1821 and 1822.
