Lloyd Avery II (actually Lloyd Fernandez Avery ; born June 21, 1969 in South Central , Los Angeles , California , USA - † September 4, 2005 in Crescent City , California, USA) was an American actor .

Lloyd Avery came from the middle class . He had nothing to do with acting until John Singleton offered to star in his first movie Boyz n the Hood . Both grew up in the same neighborhood. He played a supporting role in his next film, Poetic Justice . He also starred in films such as Hip Hop Hood - Hell is loose in the neighborhood and Lockdown with. His last film was Focus / Shot .

After the completion of the film Focus / Shot , Lloyd Avery was sentenced to life imprisonment for double homicide. On September 6, 2005, Lloyd Avery was found dead in his cell. The day of death was on the evening of September 4th. Lloyd Avery was killed with a blow to the head and a stranglehold. The man who was in a cell with Lloyd Avery was called Kevin Roby and was 41 years old at the time. Lloyd Avery was buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery .
