Loève Prize
The Line and Michel Loève International Prize in Probability ( Loève Prize ) was donated by Line Loève in 1992 in memory of her husband Michel Loève . The prize is awarded every two years and is intended to honor outstanding achievements in the field of probability theory . Similar to the Fields Medal, there is an age restriction. It is only awarded to people younger than 45 years of age. The winner will receive a sum of 30,000 US dollars . That makes the award one of the best endowed in all mathematical disciplines.
