The Doagh Perforated Stone (also known as the Love Stone) is one of a few dozen perforated stones in the British Isles . It stands very high on a rock outcrop southwest of the tiny town of Doagh ( Irish Dumhach - dt. Hill), which is northwest of Belfast in County Antrim . From here you can see a wide valley. Its age and origin are unclear, but the basalt stone has probably been there since the Bronze Age . It is about 1.4 meters high, 0.8 meters wide and 0.24 meters thick. The hole, which is 1 m high, is only 10 cm in diameter.

For the last few centuries, it has been a place where young couples promised each other eternal love. The hole only allows a girl's narrow hand to be pushed through. It was held by the man on the other side while they were making their vows at the Teltown wedding.

The surrounding area has never been excavated, but there are several basements and raths there . On a nearby hill is a Court Tomb and 7.0 km to the southeast is Passage Tomb Craigarogan .
