The Loesenerplatte is a plateau in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located on the southwest side of the Hamarskorvene cliff in the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains .

It was discovered and named during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . It is named after the aircraft mechanic Kurt Loesener from Lufthansa , a participant in this research trip.
