Loesje
Loesje (pronounced luʃə ) ( Stichting Vrienden van Loesje ) is a free speech organization founded in 1983 in Arnhem ( Netherlands ) . The organization internationalized in 1989. The organization's charter is to spread creativity and to post positive criticism , ideas , philosophical ruminations and thoughts about current events as short slogans on posters. The posters contain a signature from “Loesje”, a Dutch female name. There are also posters that are signed by Loesje's family members and whose poster content offers different perspectives, e.g. B. from a child's point of view.
In an information flyer, which poster stickers are recommended to be carried, is u. a. stated: “Loesje doesn't just want to preach truth, because enough people are already doing that. She seeks exchange, contact, confrontation. It stands for creativity, self-determination, communication as well as the freedom of art and expression. This applies not only to big political issues, but also to the little things. ”All poster files provided by Loesje are stored in an international online archive.
Loesje is currently active in 15 countries. The organization's headquarters were in Berlin from 2005 to 2013. On the Dutch website there is now a reference to a Loesje app with which the Dutch posters can be viewed on iOS devices.
