The Logan Utah Temple was the second temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints , built in Utah. The temple was dedicated by President John Taylor in 1884 . In 1979 , after major renovations, it was rededicated by President Spencer W. Kimball . It is the only temple that has been completely rebuilt. Only the outer walls were left standing.
