history

In 2006, two developers with experience in commercial J2EE products decided to set up a business called Logical Objects , whose task it was to maintain and further develop the open source project Contineo. After a year, Logical Objects decided to part with the old project and start a completely new product, LogicalDOC. The first version was made available on SourceForge in mid-2008. The version number was 3.6 to continue the numbering of the old project.

In 2010 LogicalDOC won the Bossie Award in the Document Management category.
