Loïs Habert

Loïs Habert (born November 18, 1983 in Valence , France ) is a former French biathlete .

Loïs Habert from the Douanes Scuss Valentinois club has been involved in biathlon since 2000. Since 2001 he has been part of the French national team. He started in the European Cup since the 2002/03 season. Up to 2006 he was able to finish second here four times and third three times. In the biathlon world cup he made his debut in a sprint in Oberhof (72nd). His first World Cup season was purely an academic year. He ran into the points for the first time in a sprint in Oberhof. He achieved his best result in an individual race in 2011 in Oberhof, where he was 10th in the sprint.

Loïs Habert became a biathlon trainer after his active days and as an expert he is the French co-commentator at major biathlon events for Eurosport . He is married to the biathlete Marie Dorin-Habert , and the couple has had a daughter since 2014.
