A reporter ( English to report 'report, reproduce, record'; Old French. Reporter 'report'; Latin reportare 'bring back'), also reporter , is a term for the special activity of a journalist on an event at its location and Job.
The reporter reports on current events, especially those in the fields of justice , culture , Local , Politics , Foreign , Science and Sport for press , radio and television . The report may be in radio and television both "live" - that is at the same time - transmitted and recorded and - still mostly editorial sent subsequently - edited.
Egon Erwin Kisch (1885–1948) became famous in Germany around 1920 as the “mad reporter” .
Numerous journalists and reporters were killed while they were working .
A new trend are amateur reporters who observe and photograph events for little or no payment. Must be distinguished from citizen reporters such. B. in South Korea ( OhmyNews ).
