Locomotive change

A locomotive change is the exchange of the locomotive driving a train .

A locomotive change can be used to turn around with a locomotive change, it can be due to technical reasons (e.g. due to missing or different electrification of a section) or it can be caused by the involvement of different railway companies , as they are e.g. B. occur at national borders.
